Photo Size Reducer (also known as, and occasionally referred to as, "UltraShrink: Photo & Video Compressor", hereinafter referred to as the "App"), developed by Pawan Baxla ("we", "our", or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application.

2. Core Privacy Principle: 100% Local Processing

The App is explicitly designed as a local-first utility tool.

• All photo and video compression, parameter tuning via the algorithmic "AI Button" (PEEK Engine), DPI adjustments, and physical dimension scaling take place entirely on your local device hardware.
• We do not operate external cloud storage, transmission servers, or databases.
• Your source and destination media files never leave your device.
• We do not have access to, collect, or store your personal photos, videos, or raw media assets.

3. Data Retention & Media Storage Permissions

To function on Android 7.0 through Android 17, the App requests standard system permissions (e.g., MediaStore API, Scoped Storage access, access media location, or legacy Storage permissions). These permissions are utilized strictly to read the media files you select and to write the compressed output files with original filenames and intact EXIF metadata back to your local directory. This data is never harvested or transmitted.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Financial Data (Google Play Billing)

To offer premium features and auto-renewing subscriptions, the App utilizes the Google Play Billing system.

• Payment Processing: We do not collect, process, or store any of your financial information, credit card numbers, or direct billing details. All subscription purchases and financial transactions are securely handled entirely by the Google Play Store framework.
• Purchase Validation: We may receive anonymous, non-personally identifiable purchase tokens or digital receipts from Google Play strictly to validate your premium status and unlock the appropriate app features locally on your device.

5. Third-Party SDK Data Collection (Google AdMob)

While the App does not collect personal media data, it integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs) to display advertisements, specifically Google AdMob. To maintain a free-to-use business model, these networks automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable diagnostic and tracking data directly from your device.

The data collected by third-party advertising networks includes:

• Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (AAID), Android ID.
• Telemetry Data: Device make, hardware model, operating system version, and mobile network carrier.
• Analytics & Diagnostics: App crash logs, performance latency data, and interaction rates with displayed banner or interstitial advertisements.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. Because our media compression engine executes entirely on-device, we do not store or process data on children or adults in any cloud system. If you believe an advertising partner has inadvertently collected device metrics from a child, please contact us.
